Common traits of flawed definitions

This is the first article in a sequence about intelligence.
Many flawed definitions of intelligence have one or more of the following flaws:

inclusion of unnecessary elements

lack of generality

circular terminology

anthropocentric bias

confusing measurement with the concept itself

lack of clarity
